The story so far
Stacy Worley II, also known as DJ Cuest, is a Dayton native whose creative journey began after graduating from Stivers School for the Arts in 2012. His path led him to Wright State University in 2013, where he immersed himself in the world of creativity.
At Wright State, DJ Cuest became deeply involved with WWSU, a student-run radio station. There, he served as both the music director and programming director while also hosting and curating two shows: "Yo Wright State" and "808 + Chill." Through these roles, he had the opportunity to interview a wide range of artists, from independent talents to major label stars like Jadakiss, Bryce Vine, Abby Jasmine, Glasses Malone, and more.
Simultaneously, DJ Cuest kick-started his DJ career, spinning for various organizations within the Wright State University community. His skills took him to major concerts, where he had the privilege of photographing renowned artists such as Chance the Rapper, Noname, A$AP Ferg, and Ty Dolla Sign.
Additionally, DJ Cuest briefly collaborated with the local news organization WDTN before refocusing his efforts on the local artist community. He's been actively DJing for local concerts and was recently appointed as the official DJ for Higherlearning. Furthermore, he's embarked on collaborative projects with HBE (Hard Bottom Entertainment).
DJ Cuest's mission is clear: to inspire others to create. Whether through videography, musical curation, or photography, his projects reflect his community and life experiences, serving as a testament to his dedication to artistic expression and community empowerment.
